FAITH LOVES FAMILIES
At Faith, we unapologetically get excited about loving God and loving people. We believe when individuals are spiritually strong, their family is strengthened.
Therefore, we operate many ministries around the idea of family - your personal family and as the family of God.
WHAT WE DO
We love London, Kentucky. Our desire is to see our city come to know Jesus intimately.
We look to serve and show appreciation at every opportunity we can, whether it is collecting donations for a cause or delivering hot meals and baked goods to our first responders.
We want to represent Jesus well by making sure our community knows there are people here who love them.
OUR HISTORY
Faith Assembly of God began in July 1966, when a small group of people under the leadership of Rev. Ed Jones met for worship services in the basement of Jack & Minnie Reed’s home in Pittsburg, KY.
A room was later remodeled next door in Jeff Reed’s garage, which served as a house of worship for nearly three years. The church became affiliated with the Assemblies of God in October 1966.
GROWING INTO THE PRESENT
Land was purchased on north U.S. Hwy. 25 for $400 in 1969 and in October of that year, the congregation moved to a small concrete block structure with a plywood floor, five homemade pews and a dirt-floor basement.

The church experienced steady growth throughout the years and eventually outgrew the building and parking area at the north 25 location, which led to another land purchase on W. Hwy. 80 in 1978. A two-story educational building was added first to the new property, followed by a gymnasium. The congregation moved to its current location in 1985, and held services in the gymnasium until the sanctuary was completed in 1989.
